Yeast Infection types
Yeast infection can infect just about any organ in our body. However, the most common types of yeast infections are:
- The thong and throat area – referred to as Oral thrush, Candida Glabrata or Candida Tropicalis. Looks like white layer over the thong and the throat. Effects adults and babies.
- The corner of the mouth – Referred to as Angular chelitis, cheilosis or Angular stomatitis. Looks like deep cracks in the corner of the mouth which can sometimes bleed. Effects mostly adults.
- The skin area – Referred to as Candidal intertrigo or Candida albicans. Mostly infect the folds of the skin.
- Babies yeast infection – Referred to as Diaper candidiasis. Infects babies and infants around the skin under the diaper area.
- Birth yeast infection – Referred to as Congenital cutaneous candidiasis. Infects the newborns.
- The nail area – Referred to as Candidal Paroychia. It infects the nail fold causes it to inflame.
- The area between the fingers – Referred to as Erosio interdigitalis blastomycetica. Infects the webs between the fingers and looks like white skin.
- The vaginal area – This one has many names and many types actually, but the most common one is Candida.
So as you can see there are many types of yeast infections and only a small portion of them is listed here. Maybe this is why the conventional medicine has such as hard time treating it.
If truth be told, for most cases of yeast infection you’ll get the exact same treatment. This is why the conventional treatments are rarely effective and this is why we need to seek for alternative ways to cure ourselves.
